Faith Is the Lens of Heaven

Faith Is the Lens of Heaven

We were never meant to see the world through fear.

We were never designed to live through the cracked glass of anxiety, self preservation, or human logic.

Faith was always meant to be the lens. It is the view from heaven. It is how we see reality from the throne of God instead of the trenches of human brokenness.

Faith is not emotionalism.

Faith is not blind optimism.

Faith is not positive thinking wrapped up in religious language.

Faith is the substance of heaven planted inside a human heart that has been cut off from the old world and anchored into the eternal one.

It is the vision of God growing within His sons and daughters until everything they see, everything they do, and everything they believe is aligned with His Kingdom.

Faith is the lifeline between us and God.

It is the living cord that connects our spirit to the Spirit of the Living God.

It is the invisible umbilical cord of life that nourishes us with His thoughts, His desires, and His power.

Without faith, we have no connection to Him.

Without faith, we are detached from the source of life.

Without faith, we are not walking with God, we are walking away from Him, no matter how clean our outward life may appear.

The Word of God is not shy about this.

Romans 14 verse 23 says it plainly

Everything that does not come from faith is sin.

Everything.

Not just the obvious things.

Not just the dark and the twisted.

Not just the big betrayals or the ugly moral failures.

Every thought that does not spring from trust in God is sin.

Every action that is not rooted in the certainty of His character is sin.

Every hesitation that doubts His faithfulness is sin.

Sin is not just breaking a law.

Sin is breaking relationship.

It is refusing to see God as He truly is.

The righteous shall live by faith.

This is not a suggestion.

It is not a noble idea.

It is the only way.

The only life that pleases God is the one that is anchored in absolute faith in Him.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Not difficult.

Not rare.

Impossible.

When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, it was not just disobedience.

It was a collapse of faith.

It was a severing of trust.

It was the whisper of the serpent that caused them to doubt the goodness and the word of God.

And from that doubt, every form of sin and death flowed into the world.

Doubt is not neutral ground.

Doubt is a seed of rebellion.

It is not caution.

It is treason against the throne.

It accuses the character of God.

It tells us that maybe He is not enough.

It tells us that maybe we know better.

It lures us to lean on our own understanding and to make our own way.

It demands that we trust our eyes, our emotions, our calculations, instead of the living Word that sustains all things.

Faith is the only lens by which we can see the world rightly.

Faith is the only posture by which we can obey rightly.

Faith is the only bridge by which we can move from dead religion to living communion with the Father.

Without faith, your prayers are powerless.

Without faith, your worship is empty.

Without faith, your so called obedience is nothing but self righteous performance.

The danger is not just in committing obvious acts of sin.

The danger is in living day by day with a heart full of doubt while pretending we are standing in obedience.

God does not call us to survive life by scrambling with human strategies.

He calls us to reign in life through Jesus Christ by faith.

And reigning requires seeing differently.

Faith sees what fear never will.

Faith sees the invisible as more real than the visible.

Faith looks at a barren womb and sees a multitude of nations.

Faith looks at a valley of dry bones and sees an army standing to its feet.

Faith looks at a cross and sees a throne.

Faith looks at a tomb and sees resurrection.

Faith is not a backup plan.

Faith is not something you keep in your pocket just in case your real plans fail.

Faith is the plan.

Faith is the road.

Faith is the life.

To live by faith means you refuse to be governed by what you see with natural eyes.

It means you refuse to be enslaved by what your flesh tells you is impossible.

It means you refuse to bow to the temporary and the tangible.

You are called to see through the eyes of heaven.

You are called to live as one who already knows the outcome because the outcome has been secured by the blood of the Lamb before the foundations of the world.

When the world screams fear, faith hears the promises of God thundering louder.

When culture collapses, faith sees the Kingdom rising.

When circumstances contradict everything God has spoken, faith plants its feet deeper into the ground and declares that God is not a man that He should lie.

Faith does not deny reality.

Faith simply refuses to make an idol out of temporary circumstances.

Faith agrees with the highest reality.

Faith makes the voice of God the final word.

Faith sees from the throne.

This is why anything outside of faith is sin.

Because anything outside of faith is seeing outside of God.

It is trusting another voice.

It is bowing to another reality.

It is letting something else define you, lead you, control you.

And you were not made for that.

You were made to walk with God.

You were made to carry His image, His authority, and His vision into the earth.

You were made to be a vessel through which heaven floods the earth.

The Spirit of God in you demands faith.

He does not flirt with your doubts.

He does not pet your unbelief and call it wisdom.

He confronts it.

He calls you up higher.

He demands the heart of a son, not the hesitation of an orphan.

Faith is not arrogance.

Faith is not presumption.

Faith is not you trying to create your own reality.

Faith is radical, violent agreement with the reality God has already spoken.

We are not fighting to create victory.

We are fighting from victory.

We are not trying to climb up to heaven.

Heaven has come down and made its home inside of us.

Now we are called to live from that seat, not from the dirt.

You cannot afford to live with your eyes on the ground when you have been seated with Christ in heavenly places.

You cannot afford to process life through the perspective of fear when you have been given the mind of Christ.

You cannot afford to build your life on any foundation other than absolute, uncompromising trust in the character, the word, and the leadership of God.

Faith is the lens of heaven.

It is not optional.

It is not a tool for emergencies.

It is not a suggestion for hard days.

It is the breath in your lungs.

It is the sight in your eyes.

It is the lifeline that keeps you rooted in the eternal while walking through the temporary.

Anything that does not spring from faith is by definition sin.

Anything that is not born from trust is already born from rebellion.

Anything that refuses the voice of God is already submitting to the voice of another.

Faith is how you live.

Faith is how you see.

Faith is how you win.

And the good news is this.

If you are in Christ, you have been given the measure of faith.

You are not trying to create faith.

You are not trying to work it up.

You are called to surrender to the faith that has already been placed inside of you.

You are called to lay down every counterfeit lens, every lying thought, every fear based perspective, and pick up the lens of heaven.

The lens of faith will not make you naive.

It will make you dangerous.

The lens of faith will not make you foolish.

It will make you unshakable.

You were born to see differently.

You were born to walk differently.

You were born to overcome.

Faith is the lens.

Faith is the way.

Faith is the life.

Refuse to see through anything less.
