The Last Great Awakening

The Last Great Awakening

Becoming One as He and the Father Are One

What God is doing in this hour is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. We are stepping into the final and greatest awakening, and it won’t be built on individual movements, personalities, or denominational walls. It will be marked by one thing: unity. Not surface-level agreement. Not tolerating one another long enough to get through a conference. I’m talking about real, supernatural unity—the kind Jesus prayed for in John 17.

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:20-21 ESV)

Do you understand what Jesus is saying here? The unity of His people is the evidence that He was sent by the Father. The world isn’t waiting for another Christian event, another powerful sermon, or another sign and wonder. It’s waiting to see a people so intertwined in love, in oneness, that the only explanation is God did this.

The Dividing Walls Must Come Down

We’ve spent too long dividing over things that were never meant to divide us. Style of worship. Preferred preacher. Theological nuances that don’t touch the foundations of the faith. Meanwhile, the enemy has no problem uniting in his schemes while we bicker over methods. Enough. The Bride of Christ isn’t made up of fragments and factions. She is one body.

“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Ephesians 4:4-6 ESV)

One. Over and over again, Scripture makes it clear. The early Church wasn’t some scattered, divided mess—it was a people of one accord (Acts 2:42-47). That’s why the Holy Spirit moved the way He did. That’s why they turned the world upside down. They weren’t competing; they were completing each other in the Spirit.

Beloved Identity: The Foundation of Unity

And here’s the key—this kind of unity is impossible without beloved identity. If you don’t know who you are in the Father, you will always see others as a threat. Competition, insecurity, jealousy—these things thrive in orphan thinking. But when you know you are fully loved, fully accepted, fully seated in Christ, you don’t need to prove yourself. You don’t need to tear someone else down to feel valuable. You don’t need to build your own tower of Babel to make a name for yourself. You rest in the Father’s love, and out of that rest, you love your brothers and sisters the same way He has loved you.

“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35 ESV)

The world will know us by our love. Not our doctrine. Not our spiritual gifts. Not our numbers. Our love. If we can’t walk in unity, we are testifying against the very thing Jesus died to give us.

The Great Awakening: A People in Union

This awakening isn’t about one church. It’s not about one leader. It’s about a people in union with the Father and with each other. A family. A kingdom. A bride without spot or wrinkle. And the Spirit is calling us into this now.

If you’re still holding onto bitterness against a brother or sister, let it go. If you’re still separating yourself based on denominational preferences, repent. If you’re still choosing competition over communion, it’s time to shift. We are stepping into something bigger than any one of us—but we can only step into it together.

“And the glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one.” (John 17:22 ESV)

The glory is in the oneness. The power is in the union. The evidence of Christ in us is found in how we love each other. This is the hour of the great awakening, and it will not be built on ego, agenda, or personal platform. It will be built on the prayer of Jesus coming to pass:

That they may be one.
