Where is it?

Where is it?

We spend most of our lives trying to locate something that has never been missing. We search for God in moments and movements and atmospheres while He patiently waits in the place we overlook the most. The tragedy is not that God is distant. The tragedy is that we are distracted.

Jesus never came to bring God closer. He came to reveal where God already was.

From the beginning the Father has desired a dwelling place. Not a building. Not a system. Not a ritual. A person. And not just a person who behaves correctly but a person who becomes a home. This has always been the point. Heaven was never trying to get us to earth. Heaven was always trying to get inside of us.

When the Holy Spirit took up residence He did not choose your personality. He did not choose your emotions. He did not choose your intellect. He chose your spirit. And most believers live their entire lives without ever learning how to live from that place.

We ask the question Where is my spirit because we have been trained to think in terms of geography instead of awareness. We think location when God thinks union. We think distance when God thinks depth.

Your spirit is not hiding somewhere inside your body waiting to be discovered like a lost object. Your spirit is the deepest dimension of who you are. It is the place where God breathed Himself into dust and dust became alive. It is the place where you do not reason your way into truth. You recognize truth because it resonates.

The spirit is the place of knowing. Not learning. Knowing.

Before you ever thought a thought you were known. Before you ever made a decision you were desired. Before you ever performed you were inhabited.

The problem is not that we do not have a spirit. The problem is that we live from everywhere else.

Most people live from their mind. Thoughts dominate them. Anxiety shapes their decisions. Logic governs their faith. And when the mind gets tired it hands leadership to the emotions. Then we live from feelings. High when things go well. Low when things go wrong. And all the while the spirit remains untouched waiting to be acknowledged.

Your spirit is not loud. It does not compete. It does not strive for attention. It waits.

The spirit is the place where God speaks without words. Where guidance does not come as instruction but as alignment. Where obedience is not effort but agreement.

This is why Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you. He was not speaking metaphorically. He was speaking dimensionally.

The kingdom is not a realm you visit. It is a reality you host.

When the Holy Spirit came He did not come to empower your behavior. He came to restore your origin. He came to remind you where life actually flows from. He came to re establish the throne within.

Your spirit is where God reigns without resistance.

This is why transformation never begins with trying harder. It begins with becoming still. Stillness is not inactivity. Stillness is the surrender of false leadership.

When the soul stops striving the spirit can speak.

Many people ask How do I access my spirit as if there is a door to open or a formula to follow. The truth is simpler and more challenging. You do not access your spirit. You yield to it.

You stop letting the mind interpret everything. You stop letting emotions dictate truth. You stop demanding clarity before obedience. And you begin to trust the quiet witness within.

Scripture calls it the peace that passes understanding. That is not poetic language. That is diagnostic language. Peace that does not need permission from the mind to exist.

That peace lives in your spirit.

Your spirit is where the Holy Spirit communes with you. Not as a visitor. As a resident. Not as a voice you hear occasionally. As a presence that never leaves.

This is why you can be in chaos and still feel anchored. This is why you can grieve and still have hope. This is why you can walk through fire and not smell like smoke. Because there is a place in you that is untouched by circumstance.

That place is your spirit.

It is the place where identity is settled. Where sonship is secure. Where love is not something you receive but something you participate in.

The enemy does not need to steal your salvation if he can distract you from your spirit. If he can keep you living from the surface he can keep you exhausted while God rests within you.

Religion trains people to manage behavior. The Spirit invites people to inhabit being.

When you live from the spirit obedience becomes natural. Holiness becomes organic. Prayer becomes awareness. Worship becomes lifestyle.

You stop trying to reach God and realize you are already in Him and He is already in you.

Your spirit is where heaven touches earth. Where eternity intersects time. Where the future informs the present.

This is why you can sense things before they happen. Why discernment feels like recognition not deduction. Why truth feels familiar even when it is new.

Your spirit remembers God.

Not because it learned Him but because it came from Him.

The fall did not remove the spirit. It covered it. Redemption did not replace it. It awakened it.

When Jesus said You must be born again He was not talking about behavior modification. He was talking about spirit resurrection. The spirit that was dormant becomes alive again to God consciousness.

And once your spirit is alive the invitation is to let it lead.

This is where trust replaces control. Where faith replaces certainty. Where love casts out fear not by argument but by presence.

You do not need to feel your spirit to live from it. Feelings are unreliable translators. Awareness is quieter than sensation.

Often the spirit feels like a gentle nudge. A knowing. A restraint. A draw. A peace that does not make sense.

That is leadership.

When you honor that place you begin to experience rest that does not depend on circumstances. Joy that is not rooted in outcomes. Confidence that is not built on performance.

Because your spirit is not trying to become something. It already is.

This is why Jesus could sleep in a storm. His body was tired. His soul was at rest. His spirit was anchored.

We are invited into that same way of being.

Not by discipline alone but by devotion to presence.

Your spirit is where you meet God not as a concept but as communion. Where prayer becomes listening. Where Scripture becomes revelation. Where life becomes sacred.

The more you acknowledge that place the more it influences everything else. The mind renews. The emotions stabilize. The body follows.

Order is restored from the inside out.

You were never meant to be led by information. You were meant to be led by union.

Your spirit is the meeting place. The dwelling place. The resting place.

It is not far away. It is not hard to reach. It is not reserved for the spiritually elite.

It is the deepest truth of who you are.

And when you finally stop trying to find it you realize you have been living from everywhere else but home.

The invitation is simple. Return.

Not to a memory. Not to a method. But to the place where God already lives within you.

That is where your spirit is.

If you feel led to partner with what God is doing through this ministry, we invite you to sow into this work as the Spirit leads. Your generosity helps us continue to share His love and truth with others. There is no obligation only an opportunity to join in what God is building. Thank you for considering being a part of this journey.
